Run For Ruby
Hey, it’s for charity.
A “blog friend” of mine, Jessica, aka Sassy Suspect, is running for charity.
In fact, she got her sister to run, too. Or, maybe it’s the other way around. In any case, the charity is the MAGIC Foundation, which is meant to help the families of children with Panhypopituitarism. More importantly, it’s a foundation that’s helped Jessica’s niece, Karenna Grace, aka “Ruby”. And, really, that’s all that matters to me. So, if you can afford to support them financially, go to the site they set up Run For Ruby, and make a donation.
If Jessica supports it and it’s helped her family, it must be a worthwhile place to donate your money this holiday season.
Thank-you for linking to our site. Your support is greatly appreciated.
I do have one small request and I hope you don’t think it is rude. I would really like you to remove the comment about me being “notorious” for not being active. This is in fact my 6th marathon, and I’ve religously run 30-50 miles a week since high school.
I am a bit sensitive about this because being physically active is very important in our family because of my daughter’s health concerns. Unfortunately PHP often results in blood sugar problems, obesity and depression; all of which can be helped with conistent exercise.
Thank you again.

My sincerest apologies. The way it read in your sister’s blog made it sound like this was relatively new for you. Obviously, I was quite mistaken. The correction has been made. Good luck with your campaign.

wait – what’s going on here? Jim I was razzing my sister. I was joking with her. Siblings that have a good relationship do that type of thing.

Just a misunderstanding.
I read the title on a post (” how to make my sister move”) to mean that your sister wasn’t as into running as you, but she would “move” for a good cause. So, in my post, I made some reference to that, saying something about her being “apparently notoriously less active” than you. My bad. As soon as I understood my error, I corrected the post. No harm, no foul. (At least, at my end. Not sure how your sister is with it.)
